Quinta de manhã fui ao shopping e encontrei uma blusa que me lembrou bastante o "espiríto" da Balmain nessas últimas duas temporadas na Semana de Moda de Paris. Simplesmente perfeita para compor um look rocker à la Joan Jett (The Runaways/Joan Jett and the Blackhearts).
Thurday morning I went to the shopping and I found a blouse that reminded me a lot the "spirit" of Balmain in these last two seasons in the Paris Fashion Week. Just perfect to compose a look inspired in Joan Jett (The Runaways/Joan Jett and the Blackhearts).

No post passado pedi sugestões a vocês, magníficas leitoras (e leitores) deste humilde blog! A maioria falou em tirar fotos nas belas praias de Maceió, mas aqui está muito muito quente, então decidi atender a sugestão da Meire e fazer um post com meus acessórios preferidos!

Vieux Sucrés

Há algum tempo atrás a (minha amiga) Isabela pensou em montar um brechó, mas acabou desistindo. Então há algumas semanas atrás ela conseguiu a façanha de quebrar o guarda-roupa e decidiu mudar o jeito de arrumar suas roupas! O resultado foi que o quarto ficou incrível, com um ar muito vintage!

Some time ago (my friend) Isabela thought in create a store of vintage clothes, but after sometime she gave up! Then, a few weeks ago she achieved the prowess of break her wardrobe (don't ask me how) and she decided to change the way she arrange her clothes. The result was that her room is now amazing, with a very vintage air!

Sweet Emotion

Depois de um fim de semana movimentado finalmente estou relaxando ouvindo The Cult, banda inglesa que surgiu nos anos 80! Existem pessoas que acham estranho alguém gostar de moda e rock n' roll, assim como têm gente que acha que todo mundo que curte moda é fútil. Ninguém é uma coisa só e é por isso que eu sempre tento falar sobre cinema, música, literatura, etc., aqui no blog. Eu, por exemplo, não consigo imaginar a minha vida sem aquele primeiro cd do Aerosmith que comprei aos 12 anos!

After a bustling weekend I can finally relax, listening The Cult, a british band that was created in the middle of the 80's! There's some people that thinks strange like fashion and rock n' roll, as there's some people that thinks that everyone who likes fashion is futile. Nobody is just one thing and is because of that I always try to speak about cinema, music, literature, etc, here in the blog! I can't imagine my life without the first Aerosmith cd that I bought when I was 12!

Falar de Audrey Hepburn no mundo da moda é quase um lugar comum, mas eu não posso deixar de dizer aqui que essa belga, filha de um banqueiro inglês e baronesa holandesa, é para mim a mulher mais linda e elegante que já pisou na face da terra!
Speak of Adurey Hepburn in the fashion world is very common, but I have to say here that this belgian, daughter of a english banker and a dutch baroness, is for me the most beautiful and elegant woman that already existed in the Earth!

Louise Brooks, estrela do cinema mudo, participou dos clássicos A Caixa de Pandora (Die Büchse der Pandora) e Diário de uma Garota Perdida (Tagebuch einer Verlorenen) do diretor alemão Georg Wilhelm Pabst. Louise foi a primeira "it girl" do cinema, mas para conseguir notoriedade teve que trocar Hollywood pela Europa, onde seu estilo moderno para a época foi bem aceito, inspirando assim milhares de mulheres.

Encontrei há algum tempo o blog de um ilustrador americano chamado Danny Roberts, suas pintoras são lindas, muitas inspiradas em modelos (como esta que é inspirada na britânica Lily Cole). Alguns de seus desenhos chegaram até a aparecer em revistas como a Marie Claire!
I found some time ago the blog of the american illustrator Danny Roberts, his drawings are beautiful, some of them inspired in models (like this that's inspired in the british model Lily Cole). Some of his illustrations already appearad in magazines like Marie Claire Spain!

Edvard Munch é definitivamente meu pintor preferido, não só pela beleza de suas obras mas pelo impacto que elas me causam. O norueguês é considerado um dos mais importantes expressionistas da Europa e hoje é lembrado mundialmente como o autor do quadro "o Grito", (1893) que faz parte da série "O Friso da Vida". Munch retratava as mulheres ora como frágeis e inocentes ora como causa de grande anseio, ciúmes e desespero, como nos meus quadros preferidos Separação (acima) e Cinzas.
Edvard Munch is definitely my fav. painter, not just for the beauty of his pieces but because of the impact that they cause in me. The norwegian is considered one of the most important expressionists of the Europe and today is remembered as the author of "The Scream" (1893), which is part of the "Frieze of Life" cycle. Munch used to show the women in his paintings sometimes as fragile and innocent creatures and sometimes as cause of great anxiety, jealousy and desperate, like in my fav. pieces Separation and Ashes.

Bossa Nova

A Bossa Nova foi um movimento da música popular brasileira surgido no final da década de 1950, para muitos críticos o início da bossa é creditado a um disco do baiano João Gilberto, lançado em 1958, que continha o eterno clássico "Chega de Saudade". É pensando em Tom Jobim, Vinícius de Moraes, Ronaldo Bôscoli e Maysa que ofereço esse ensaio cheio de sol, praia e coqueiros, uma síntese do Brasil tropical de "Garota de Ipanema".

Bossa Nova was a movement of the brazilian popular music developed in the end of the 1950's, for some critics the beginning of the bossa is credited to an album of João Gilberto, released in 1958, which contained the classic "Chega de Saudade". It's thinking in Tom Jobim, Vinícios de Moraes, Ronaldo Bôscoli and Maysa that I offers this photos full of sun, sea and coconuts, a synthesis of Brazil of "Girl from Ipanema". Testing, 1, 2, 3!

Como eu já disse num post anterior a parte que acho mais interessante do "mundo da moda" é o processo de criação de roupas. Mas, além de criar, podemos também modificar o jeito que utilizamos determinada peça! Porque não tornar uma saia longa em um vestido ou uma saia curta numa bata? É essa a proposta do post de hoje! O segredo é o bom-senso (como sempre) e um cinto bonito!

As I said in a previous post my fav. part of the "fashion world" is the process of creation of clothes. Buuut, besides create, we can also modify the way we use some clothes! Why don't use a long skirt as a dress or a short skirt as a blouse? This is my proposal today! The secret is good sense (as always) and a beautiful belt!
