Falar de Audrey Hepburn no mundo da moda é quase um lugar comum, mas eu não posso deixar de dizer aqui que essa belga, filha de um banqueiro inglês e baronesa holandesa, é para mim a mulher mais linda e elegante que já pisou na face da terra!

Edie Sedgwick foi por um tempo a grande musa de Andy Warhol. Com um estilo todo próprio de se vestir e se maquiar marcou a "Fábrica" e a Pop Art. Foi interpretada por Sienna Miller no filme Factory Girl de 2006.

Encontrei há algum tempo o blog de um ilustrador americano chamado Danny Roberts, suas pintoras são lindas, muitas inspiradas em modelos (como esta que é inspirada na britânica Lily Cole). Alguns de seus desenhos chegaram até a aparecer em revistas como a Marie Claire!

Edvard Munch é definitivamente meu pintor preferido, não só pela beleza de suas obras mas pelo impacto que elas me causam. O norueguês é considerado um dos mais importantes expressionistas da Europa e hoje é lembrado mundialmente como o autor do quadro "o Grito", (1893) que faz parte da série "O Friso da Vida". Munch retratava as mulheres ora como frágeis e inocentes ora como causa de grande anseio, ciúmes e desespero, como nos meus quadros preferidos Separação (acima) e Cinzas.
Edvard Munch is definitely my fav. painter, not just for the beauty of his pieces but because of the impact that they cause in me. The norwegian is considered one of the most important expressionists of the Europe and today is remembered as the author of "The Scream" (1893), which is part of the "Frieze of Life" cycle. Munch used to show the women in his paintings sometimes as fragile and innocent creatures and sometimes as cause of great anxiety, jealousy and desperate, like in my fav. pieces Separation and Ashes.
